Stella Nguyen is a photographer interested in capturing imagery of families, portraits, events and any creative adventures anyone wants to share with her. Based in Carlton she is happy to work within surrounding areas and beyond .
Stella looks at the world in wide-eyed wonder and this has led her to a variety of working experiences,
She’s worked as a Math, Science, Literacy, RE and Generalist teacher in both Primary and Secondary education
She is a qualified art therapist, who can work with others to better their understanding of self, using art and personal creativity
She is a closet poet and story-teller
These experiences have created a personal fascination with people in Stella’s photography.
First, she is naturally drawn to people. It makes Stella smile and gives her a sense of satisfaction capturing moments that express love and togetherness.
Secondly, Stella likes to represent human experiences through exploring our emotions and the internal landscape. This has taken form in projects with considered images that aim to communicate moments we all connect to.
Thirdly, she is curious, experimental and spontaneous. Sometimes Stella just shoots and looks at the world in wide-eyed wonder and hopes to share that feeling with others.
